Better not: If you can keep her at a good distance and still can observe her, that would be fine, if not better keep her away from the fumes or any working area

Unlikely: Fumes could affect you NEXT DOOR....usually harmful in ENCLOSED SPACE! Its NOT unusual to SMELL these solvents for long distances. SMELL alone is not dangerous!

Expected : It will no kill you. But to minimize exposure you may wait a day after painting before sleeping in the room.

Not an issue: The people that developed problems from this practice were the workers that painted the dials. They often touched the brush to their skin or mouth to assist making a fine line. Such practices amplified their exposure &amp; they did it multiple times a day for years. Otherwise the amount of radiation from a flowing dial was not enough to cause problems in those who wore them or stood nearby.

is it dangerous for babies to be exposed to lead paint?

Yes: It is dangerous for babies to be exposed to lead paint in a form which can be ingested or breathed in.  For instance, if lead paint has peeled from the walls and the baby picks up a piece and eats it or if the paint has crumbled into dust over the years and is in the dirt in the yard, the baby can get it in his/her system.  Elevated lead can be very dangerous to a child's brain.

why am i getting cold sores when my sex life is as interesting as dried paint?

Not related to sex: Cold sores in the mouth that keep occuring in the same spot are from herpes simplex virus that lives in the nerves and flare up when triggered.  It could be stress, sun light, fever and some foods.  Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease that also resides in the nerves and has flare ups.
