I checked: A # of sites and did not see an age limit. However, i would discourage one from starting to take dietary supplements as such a young person. Healthy diet and exercise are the key to weight loss - not fads or pills.

Yes but why . .: Lipozene has compelling and optimistic advertisements about weight loss.  The problem is that there are no actual clinical studies that would past muster showing effectiveness.  If you need to lose weight, get with a good dietary and exercise regimen.  Most gyms can help with this and even your school nurse can help you with resources you need.

Lipozene: Lipozene is konjac powder which contains glucommanan, basically a dietary fiber. It can interefere with absorption of other medications if you are taking any. It is a far better idea to eat a balanced, restricted calorie diet and exercise for a healthy safe weight loss plan.

Mixed results:fiber: Glucomannan's effectiveness as a weight loss treatment have shown mixed results. The university of pittsburgh medical center reports one double-blind placebo-controlled study of 20 women who were 20 percent over their ideal weight found that the women lost an average of 5.5 lbs. In eight weeks while taking glucomannan supplements. However, other studies have reported no weight loss with use.

Who knows?: Slimquick Pure is essentially  a multivitamin with caffeine.   Lipozene doesn't even  list it's ingredients other than a type of fiber.  That should be a huge red flag to you.  The company has also had a class action lawsuit filed against it for false claims, another red flag.  Save your money, skip these products. . Diet and exercise are the way to go.

The only way to lose: Weight is if calories burned exceed calories consumed.  If you read the responses of healthtap doctors  regarding diet pills - they usually recommend skipping the pills and eating nutritious foods in moderation mixed with exercise.

Best to work with a: medical doctor, so that you are medically supervised in losing weight, planning exercise regimen, nutritional consult and not just taking weight loss shakes. You may need diet changes to go along with your exercise program that is more nutritious  than using those products alone. Do it safely, and with guidance to insure your success. You can do it safely!
