i have been trying to cut sodium down. yesterday i had around 2500mg without realizing it. (rice a roni). does drinking a lot of water negate this?

Reduce sodium: Ideal sodium intake in diet/day is 1500-2000 mg.
All processed food ,soup cans,boxed food &amp; bread  etc etc are loaded with sodium.Read all labels of food you buy in super market.
Water drinking will negate to some extent.
Change your diet to more vegetables &amp; fruits.

Mumbo jumbo: Grains such as rice are generally good for you. There's a "pop" claim that "black rice" is a "superfood." on the evidence, it's simply a promotion targeting naive, well-meaning, health-conscious epole; ignore it. Drink the water if you like it.

is it safe to drink cold drinks (juice, water) and eat ice cream, cold yogurt, cold flan (a type of soft cool cake) a few hours after a single tooth extraction? are cake, bread, and rice appropriate food to eat a few hours after the extraction?

Post op: What you listed is fine to eat but best to try to eat on the other side of your mouth for a few days.

No benefit. No harm.: One should be sure to stay well hydrated during pregnancy.  The temp of the water is of no consequence.

Why take Glucon?: If you are not diabetic it probably does not cause harm but it is not clear why you are taking Glucon-D. It is a highly concentrated Glucose supplement. There is not a clear health benefit of using this. If you are worried about low blood sugar discuss with your doctor so that testing can be done. Drinking juice or eating food would likely have more beneficial effects

Try smaller amounts: Try to vary how much you drink at one time to see if this improves the symptoms.  Sometimes gentle exercise after eating or drinking can help with bloating.

i feel like i have a cold and am 8 weeks preganant. can i drink hot water with fresh lemon and ginger? my nose is also blocked - what can i take?

Yes you can: An adult can chew 1/4th ounce of raw ginger to decrease nausea but should not exceed 4 grams/day. Place thin slivers of fresh organic ginger in tea pot with boiling water – steep for 5 minutes &amp; then slowly sip.  Adding 1 TS of buckwheat honey &amp; fresh lemon will make it more effective. Congestion – saline nose drops or neti pot.  Be well.

Accepted Answer

Hydronephrosis: Probably not, if you have unilateral hydronephrosis (h). Your unaffected kidney should be able to excrete a water load. See a urologist to see what is causing the h and see if it can be resolved.

is it ok to drink enough water to lower thc levels in your urine to pass a drug test?

Accepted Answer

Nope: No. The test will check your specific gravity and you will fail it.
