Missing data: How long ago was the surgery ? Is the kid home or hospitalized ? Any fever ? Have you called the treating surgeon ? There is too much missing info here to be precise but it doesn't sound normal, You need to call the treating doc.

had gallbladder removed may 2014.lot of symptoms stopped.nausea and vomiting came bac end of june.is it normal 2 feel nausea or vomit post surgery?

Not usually: Unless you have a stricture of the pancreatic duct it would be unusual for the biliary system to cause a problem. Would be concerned about irritable bowel syndrome. Have a set of liver enzymes with amylase taken and see what they find. A GI specialist would be the person to see.

Are you on Pain meds: Sometimes continual use of pain meds or other meds may aggravate this.  See your surgeon.

NOT REALLY: There's no reason for a post colectomy patient to have nausea or dyspepsia, related to the surgery.  I'm assuming you are no longer taking post operative pain medicine. Speak to your doctor. In the meantime , focus on a healthy diet with good hydration. Good luck.

Gastroparesis: Not including the most common causes of nausea and vomiting which accompany any type of surgery (anesthesia, pain, etc.) one of the most common complications of the whipple procedure is delayed emptying of stomach contents into the intestines. This can lead to dilation of the stomach and vomiting.

Need more info: its not clear to me, but it sounds like you may have an elective surgery upcoming.  If so, with your symptoms, you should let your surgeon know so that pre-emptive decisions can be made to make sure you are not placed at any undue risk.

Depends on surgery: best to talk to the surgeon but anti nausea meds, early but gentle feeding, ambulation / mobility after surgery, avoidance of infection, etc are a few basic things.

ive always wanted to be a nurse.im fine with needles,blood,and vomit,but not so much surgery.do i need to watch one in order to become a nurse?thanks!

No: But you may be required to assist with minor procedures. It is always better to follow your life passion without allowing minor concerns to prevent you from your goals. If you are okay with blood it is likely you will be okay with surgery. Good luck

and vomiting. appendiceal opening still seen in colonscopy?

See a doc: my best advice us to go see a doctor,  prob a surgeon. May want to do a ct scan and see what is going on
