Flu shot: One would not expect a flu shot to be associated with a stroke. You have a lot of risk factors. Influenza would be a significant hit to your system. I would agree with your dr. That a flu shot is a good idea.

worried taking multi & choline 2mg is listed & just read choline causes blood clots. i had stroke 16 years ago after a flu shot. if i stop taking multi with choline will my blood return to normal & how soon? thank you?

Need more info: Taking choline is not doing you any good and you may safely stop taking it. Taking multivitamins is safe.
Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.

Repeat question: I addressed this earlier.  You may safely stop taking choline, though it is not likely to have any positive or negative outcome.
You have not indicated the problem with your blood that you are seeking to return to normal.

Not that uncommon: Without seeing and feeling it, it sounds like you just have some local irritation at the injection site, which is common with many different vaccines.  As long as you don't have fevers, spreading redness, increasing pain, discharge at the site, you'll likely be fine.  Consider cold compresses to speed resolution.  But if you are that worried, address this with the doctor who vaccinated you.

i am 54 was diagnosed with sarcoid 5 years ago. it is non active but there is bad flu going about so should i get the anti flu jab. my health is good.

Yes: I would recommend the vaccination. The season is still ongoing and it will provide some protection. Good hand washing and avoiding contact with ill individuals is also recommended.

Sounds like: ...Your body is reacting to the flu shot which is exactly what it's supposed to do. This immun response is preparing your body for when you get exposed to live influenza virus this winter, and it will protect you.  If the redness or pain persists for more than a day or worsens, call the doctor who gave you the shot.
