Not a good idea: Insert mandatory scolding here. The answer to your question depends on which NyQuil you are taking. Some contain pseudoephedrine  or phenylephrine which would be dangerous. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is safe to take however it does cause drowsiness the next day. Adderall begins to wear off after 10 hours. Much better idea to wait it out than treat side effects of one drug with another.

The half-life: Is 12 hours, so it can be detectable up to a maximum of 60 hours, but in reality it will likely clear much sooner depending on how quickly your body metabolizes it and the fact that you took a single small dose. Best wishes.

It has long been off patent and is not actively marketed, but it works well, including a sustained-released form called Dexedrine spansule.  However, it can be quite hard to obtain now, with newer forms of stimulants having taken its place.

The confirmatory tests, however, will be negative.
