Yep: But the vision will remain blurred for a few hours from the rinsing, as tap water is kinda irritating to the eye. If not alot better by tomorrow, see ophthalmologist.

Eye Hope This Helps: They heal pretty fast but it depends on the size,depth &amp; location of the abrasion.If right in the line of sight,over the pupil,it could take several weeks before your vision is back to what it was.Try looking through a pinhole &amp; see if it clears up.If it does,then it's likely something else,unless that"something else"was there before the injury.Try moisturizing eye drops for a while,then a recheck

Call rheuma now: Since Plasmoquine may cause permanent damage to your eyes, you need to stop it right now and contact your rheumatologist for an alternate medication. An eye doctor consult may also be needed.  What you have is not normal.

ER, or eye doctor: An ophthalmologist (medical eye doctor) should check now. He has magnifying equipment that gives a good exam of the eyeball and eyelids. The eye doctor can see infection, irritation or inflammation, corneal abrasion, something stuck in the eye, etc... The ER can help if no eye doctor is available right away. In one's 60's, if it is angle-closure glaucoma it is an eye emergency.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. What you described could be a transient ischemic attack and warrants an evaluation.

Yes and no: The structure of the eye can appear completely normal under the light microscope. However, testing such a visual field test can show new blind spots that are a result of the damaged areas in the brain.  Take care.
