Wait it out: and if the blood persists after  4-5 days, consult you primary doctor. A chest xray   and  blood tests  will probably be ordered. You did mention any nosebleeds or gum bleeds  or tobacco use  so I presume they're not a problem.  But   coughing blood-tinged sputum during acute bronchtis is relatively common.

No: You take antibiotics for pneumonia, not an ordinary cough.  Antibiotics are placebos when used to treat viral infections, and Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is overkill even for most true bacterial respiratory infections.

my daughter is 12 and has never taken a pill. she was prescribed augmentin 825-125 mg for a spider bite. my question is can i cut these pills in half?

Yes: You could cut them in half, or into a size that she can easily manage.

Not unles infected: An antibiotic will do nothing for any insect bite unless it gets secondarily infected.  Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) would cover most bacterial pathogens that cause skin infections with the exception of mrsa.

14 days tops: As soon as the powder is reconstituted it begins the countdown of safe use. If left out at room air conditioned room temperature it will go bad in a week.Refrigeration gives it 2 wks, beyond that point the strength or effectiveness decays rapidly.

when does the redness and warmth from cellulitis go away? i have been on augmentin for almost 2 weeks for infected cat bite. redness, swelling, and warmth improving but redness, and some warmth remain. is this something to be worried about?

: You might actually have another problem{with your vascular system}, either stasis dermatitis or even, though more rare, thrombophlebitis. See your dermatologist for evaluation and possibly an alternative treatment. Also, the alleged infection may be caused by an organism that is not susceptible to Augmentin.

See below: Antibiotics are no longer recommended for sinusitis unless it is severe or prolonged.  Both Levaquin and Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) are good antibiotics for sinusitis in those unusual cases where antibiotics are warrented.

Should: Augmentin is the initial drug chosen to treat a cat bite. Soaking the finger could over hydrate the wound &amp; interfere with tissue healing. Using a warm compress would provide the heat needed to improve circulation &amp; improve healing without the excess tissue water.

Alcohol: I would not advise it while on antibiotics.

im having issues with my teeth they feel big when bite or touch teeth together just back teeth does that mean infection its worse in morning,im taking augmentin but ive been missed a few dosage so one day for few days, or can teeth just feel this?

: A tooth feeling "Big" or high as we say can be an indication of infection at the apex of the tooth and in the ligament holding the tooth into the jaw bone.  You are taking a suitable antibiotic, but it is a big mistake not to take the correct dose and maintain the blood level of the drug, you can get resistant bacteria that way which are much harder to treat.  See your dentist now!
