Muscle tension: You are more likely clenching your teeth tightly and and causing the symptoms you describe.  If these do not resolve fairly quickly or you develop weakness prompt physician evaluation is necessary.

: Scalp tingling is not a sign of impending stroke.  Might see a dermatologist to check this more fully.

hi my dad had a stroke in sept of 2014. for the past last months his been complaining of headache on the right side where the stroke affected him. his saying now that he's feeling cramp symptoms on his head. is that normal after a stroke?

Yes: a headache is often a symptom although the exact cause is unclear! Your Dad should mention this to his PCP or Neurologist if he is still seeing one !

Unlikely: More likely it is a problem with your rotator cuff in your shoulder.  Please see your doctor for evaluation.

since the symptoms of a mini stroke i've be getting headaches and tingling /numbness on left side of head could this be related please am so scared!!!

Headaches are: unusual for stroke but tingling/numbness on one side of the head is definitely suspect.  Though there are other things that could cause numbness tingling, such as atypical migraine or neuralgia/ facial nerve paralysis.  Please check with your healthcare provider and get the help you need, but be calm and don't worry as much.

3 days of an on/off stabbing pain at single point top back of head. lasts several seconds and happens once an hour with varying pain. no other symptoms. should i get evaluated for stroke or aneurysm? had covid 1 1/2 weeks ago with mild symptoms?

: Pain with those characteristics is not consistent with headache due to a cerebral vascular accident (stroke or ruptured aneurysm). Take OTC analgesic as needed for a couple days should be all you need for now.

Not always a stroke: You should see a neurologist, without knowing more about your exam and presentation it might help to point out that numbness may not necessarily due to a stroke in the brain matter. All points of the pathway between the sensory receptors in the skin, the connecting nerves, and the brain itself may be affected.

had a lot of head cts  (7-8) & ctas (2)   due to tia / stroke symptoms over the years and injuries associated to illness. scared of brain cancer.

Accepted Answer

Induced Ca unlikely: I worry more about  history of "TIA/stroke" and "injury" in a 38 yo.
  Radiation risk for the listed studies is well under 1 in 500 or so and "brain cancer" is even less likely.
 MRI is a great test for the brain and vessels as there is no ionizing radiation, BUT you must be able to have the test. For example no metal shavings in your eye from an injury and no unstable implanted ferrous metal.

are paresthesias along with loss of sensation in legs, burning in head a sign of a stroke? can an mri of brain detect previous strokes?

MRI is best : Stroke symptoms are variable but a brain MRI will detect even very small stokes almost immediately.  Ct scanning, although cheaper and faster, can miss small strokes or very early strokes.

Not signs: This would not be a sign of those conditions. You may be having some postnasal drop or sinus type problem. See your Physician if symptoms persist or worsen.
