No : You would have to rub the eye so hard that it would be painful and dangerous to change the iris in any way.

Unusual: The iris can change color over the years, but usually very gradually. The cornea, which is the clear dome over the iris, can develop haziness which can make the iris appear to be decreasing in pigment. There are rare conditions that can cause iris depigmentation, so an eye exam would be indicated to be sure everything is healthy.

The back iris surface contains a layer of pigment that gives color to the eye. Excessive pigment shedding may clogg the drainage system internally and lead to pigmentary glaucoma.

Why?: There are some natural conditions with loss of pigment - some extreme like albinos - and some inflammatory conditions as well.  These are not good things.  So why would you want to lose pigment? Is it to alter your eye color?  There is no way to do this naturally or otherwise on purpose.  You can change your eye color with colored contact lenses.

Pinguecula : You are most likely seeing a pinguecula.  These are thought to be caused by ultraviolet light exposure. They are nothing to worry about. When the same process gets more aggressive and starts to invade the cornea, we call it a Pterygium.  Sometimes, these require surgery.  Your ophthalmologist can tell you for sure with just a quick look.

No: If you pressed on the eye too hard you might damage the sight due to collapse of the blood vessels at the back of the eye.  The iris is tough and applying pressure would not change its architecture or color at all.

Lack of eye pigment: Lack of eye pigment can be due to: genetics/inheritance;  congenital condition called albinism characterized by the complete or partial absence of pigment in the skin, eyes and hair; lack of nerve innervation to iris (congential horner's syndrome); trauma; prior eye surgery.
