A member asked:

Could too much pressure damage the pigment tissue in the iris resulting in a discolouration of the iris?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: If you pressed on the eye too hard you might damage the sight due to collapse of the blood vessels at the back of the eye. The iris is tough and applying pressure would not change its architecture or color at all.
