Iris: The iris, with its hole in the center: the pupil, in in constant motion by the effect of light entering the eye, containing circular and radial muscle fibers, the iris is constantly "flexing" these muscles. The back iris surface contains a layer of pigment that gives color to the eye. Excessive pigment shedding may clogg the drainage system internally and lead to pigmentary glaucoma.
