i have severe anxiety and often have sharp, intense pain in the center of my chest ( sternum area ) and right side for about a minute or so. is it something i should be worried about?

: "chest pain" in a 20yo  will usually originate from the  entrance to the stomach (located just behind the heart) the chest wall or lungs. Consuming caffeine, nicotine, acid drinks or carbonated beverages will aggravate stomach related pain. If this pressing down below your breast bone hurts, this may be heartburn and worthy of an office visit.

i was wrestling  a friend and tried to slam him when i heard a pop near my chest now i have a knot by my sternum and intense pain in shoulder and ches?

Chest pain : Possible it is a broken rib. Definitely recommend getting an xray.

???: "sharp, intense pain" needs to be evaluated by a doctor, possibly emergently in the er!  even though 20 is young and low risk for heart attack or dissection, soft tissue disorders or genetic high cholesterol or obesity might put you at risk, even at age 20.  See a doctor!

Intense pain: The source of your intense pain will be unknown unless and until you visit a GYN MD who can examine your history, perform a physical exam and any necessary testing.

Costochondritis: Frequently, the act of coughing can cause small muscle strains in the muscles which hold your ribs together. This is called costochondritis and it can be painful. Try to alleviate the cough using saline nasal washes, antitussives and sleeping with additional pillows under your head. Use Ibuprofen for pain relief and antiinflammatory effects.

i have pleurisy. is intense pain in the upper back when pressing on your chest associated with pleurisy?

Other symptoms: Usually on only one side of the chest, extend
 to  shoulder or abdomen.Worse when cough
 sneeze, or suddenly move.May ease with holding breath or pressing painful area. Costochondritis or inflammation of anterior rib endings sometimes can mimic pleuritis.

Esophageal spasm: What you described is not uncommon, especially with cold water. It is generally transitory and does not have any lasting ill effects.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

i practice brazilian jiu jitsu and over the last couple of weeks when someone applies there weight the right side of my chest i get a intense pain?

Common injury!: Always glad to help a fellow BJJ practitioner! This is a common injury in BJJ.  Sometimes in the heat of the moment you don&#x27;t remember HOW you injured it, only that it hurts the next day! X-ray can rule out a fracture, but usually the only treatment is rest, ice 20 min as needed for the first few days, and taking a break from training till you can at least do a forward roll without pain!

i've had a cough for a week that has caused intense pain on the left side of my chest, to the point i can barely move without agony. should i go to er?

Chest pain: Yes go to the ER. It may represent infection or it may be strain from coughing. Be checked and get a CXR. All the best.

i'm having a really intense pain in the right side of my chest right under my pecks only brought on by eating,drinking or burping? any ideas ?

Chest pain burp: My first guess is gerd but you did not say how fat you are? second would be hiatal  hernia again if you weigh 400 Lbs this could be a problem. So really need more information. What does your Dr think it is? What are you worried that it is?
