Common injury!: Always glad to help a fellow BJJ practitioner! This is a common injury in BJJ. Sometimes in the heat of the moment you don't remember HOW you injured it, only that it hurts the next day! X-ray can rule out a fracture, but usually the only treatment is rest, ice 20 min as needed for the first few days, and taking a break from training till you can at least do a forward roll without pain!
