If you are suddenly tending to get lots of infections, you need to be seen to be sure there's not something blocking flow of urine and causing the infections. Urinary infection: Symptoms include burning pain on urination, frequent urination &/or sudden urgency, foul smelling urine, possibly blood in urine &/or some wetting. You need to get your urine tested for infection, see a health care professional for antibiotics and drink plenty of water. Burning on urination can be helped by taking Pyridium (phenazopyridine) available otc at pharmacy. It only relieves symptoms & is not a cure.

Blood stream infection need antibiotics.

Wash hands!: You will never be able to prevent all infections, but that's ok. As long as your child has a normal immune system, he/she will be able to handle most infections. Make sure your child gets all the recommended vaccinations! When around other sick kids, make sure to wash hands. Many doctors think your immune system being exposed to antigens may actually be beneficial. Doctors are always there to help
