Yeast infection: Some symptoms of a yeast infection include: itching in the vaginal area and around the vulva (the opening of the vagina), burning in the vagina, swelling of the genitals, vaginal discharge that may be thick (like cottage cheese), burning while peeing, and pain with sex. Obviously, different women have different symptoms.
