whenver i blow my nose there's droplets of blood and bloody mucus in the tissue. is this normal? could it be a sign of infection or cancer?

Probably not: Especially in dry winter air, some blood when you blow your nose can be normal.  If this is unusual for you, and if you have other symptoms (congestion, fatigue, drainage, etc.), it could be a symptom of sinus infection. It would be very rare for this symptom to mean you have cancer.  A simple treatment would be to start moisturizing with saline spray and a little vaseline periodically.

i have a joint infection and my doctor wants to order a bone biopsy. can this infection be a sign of cancer?

Probably is not: Joint infectios are in general serous problems specially if they occura after a joint replacement.Your dr could be concerned about you having osteomylitis of the bone(bone infection)and that is te reazon for the bone biopsy.Must likely is not bone cancer.

Possibly: Posey, this possibly could be the case.  It seems that cancer usually has inflammation accompanying it so a hip infection could be part of the cancer.  You would need a proper history from the patient, along with a proper physical exam, xrays and lab tests to further investigate.

Only if chronic: Chronic draining sinus from infected joint can lead to squamous cell carcinoma.

Not likely but?: The answer depends in some part on your history.  If you have no history of cancer, and the imaging suggests an infection, at your age you are unlikely to end up with an unexpected diagnosis of cancer.  If you have a history of cancer, perhaps the presence of an infection in the affected bones and joint is due to an underlying cancer, prior biopsy, or depressed immune system. Consult your doctor.

You need to see doct: A doctor's visit is necessary to help you. You have a lot of medical complaints and i wonder why? So go see your gp and he/she can explain to you what, if anything is wrong. Drinking alcohol so frequently can cause more than half of these problems. So cut that down first and then we can try to help you further.

See an Oral Surgeon: With this type of question, it is better to see an oral surgeon for a complete head and neck evaluation.  I doubt anything that we answer can properly diagnose any symptoms or observations on your part, allay any fears or concerns you may have, or advise you adequately.  However, seeing an oral surgeon should be able to do all of that for you.

ive got just above 1.5cm feelable submandibular lymph nodes on both sides. ive had them for 3 years and im unsure if theyve changed. i have no signs of infection or lymphoma. could this be cancer? im slim too and 18. the nodes move aswell?

: What you described is not suggestive of cancer. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

: They are likely normal lymph nodes, specifically if not changing in size and without any other symptoms. Have your doc comment on them during your annual exam, health related anxiety is likely and needs to be addressed before the lymph nodes.
