However, seeing an oral surgeon should be able to do all of that for you.

Quick growing lesion: Red white or red and white lesions that are fast growing, usually painful and do not go away over time. These are the ones to be worried about. A normal infection shuld go down within 2 weeks. Cancer is going to either get bigger or not go away.
