Yes: Any type of infection including the above can cause: fever, chills, achiness, nausea, abd pain, fatigue.  Flu like symptoms.

I'm assuming : You are already under the care of a dentist.  If not, that takes priority over the exercising.  If you are on antibiotics waiting a few days before the extraction is to be performed then you should be fine - just don't overdo it - treadmill, elliptical should be fine - heavy weights etc -no. See a dentist: If your sister has swollen gums around a wisdom tooth, she should make an appointment to see a dentist to have it evaluated.  In the mean time she should start rinsing with warm salt water rinses immediately.  1 tsp salt in hot water( not so hot she burns herself). Hold the water close to the swollen gum as long as she can.  Repeat until all the water is gone.  Do this often until she can be see.

Maybe: Infection in wisdom teeth can be very serious.  If you have active infection in or around them then it can be more difficult to achieve complete numbness, i.E pain during the procedure.  Post operatively, residual infection will slow healing.  If the infection is in the bone it be very painful,  a toss up between them both.

Swelling: Wisdom teeth seldom actually have an infection. Post operative pain and swelling can make you think you have an infection. It is not uncommonl to have increasing swelling for 3 days after the extraction. If the tooth was inpacted or you develope a dry socket a throbing pain can persist for up to 2 weeks. If there is new swellng or increasing swelling more than four days after extration you may hav.

Yes: Surgeons will remove wisdom teeth if they are infected.  Sedation and/or general anesthesia may be indicated for some patients if the infection makes it difficult for the patient to open his or her mouth, or if the acute infection makes if difficult to achieve profound anesthesia with local anesthesia alone.

i had 2 wisdom teeth extracted may 8/15. noticed on the bottom that surrounding teeth have pain which seems to spread to canine. could be infected?

Possible: Possible infection. See oral surgeon who did surgery for exam/advice.
