i practiced the clock drawing test by myself and spaced some of the numbers incorrectly but i tried again and got it all right. is this ok?

Nobody knows: This type of test is not intended for a person to practice and get better and better at it.  Nobody knows how to score such a test after a person has practiced and trained his brain to do well on the test.  However, if one was able to train himself to do a good drawing, it's likely "ok".  One's doctor can evaluate for any suspected problems by using other methods, in addition to this test.

i gave two incorrect pulse rates at work, is this bad?

Growth retardation: If you measure small, it could mean your baby is a little small, or it could be growth retarded, transverse lie, or low amnionic fluid. The next step should be an ultrasound and estimation of fetal weight and amnionic fluid volume.

is gbs caused by bad hygiene or wiping incorrectly? what does someone do wrong to catch it?

Nothing: It is a common bacterium found in the vagina, rectum,  and intestinal areas. It is NOT a sexually transmitted disease and no one does anything wrong..

how do you know when you antibiotics are too strong for you or when they are incorrectly prescribed.

Never too strong: Antibiotics are never "too strong" although they are often prescribed "incorrectly" for viral illnesses which won't respond. Best examples are colds, bronchitis &amp; sinusitis which normally will resolve in a week w/antibiotics and 7 days w/o antibiotics. We should also try to chose appropriate antibiotic ie narrow spectrum for infection, rather than broad spectrum option. Work closely w/ur FamilyDoc

Back pain: Back pain typically will resolve in a week. Take Ibuprofen or other NSAID. If persistent symptoms recheck.

is it bad my husband used nyquil 3 nights in a row and didn't rinse out the cup in-between? there was some dried at the bottom of the cup. he's got a bad cold. he took the right dose but is that taking it incorrectly if he didn't rinse it first?

: I wouldn't obsess over this. Men are sloppy with meds. I don't believe the cited practice is important to the success or lack there of nor would it affect your ability to take the med after his use. Let it go.

can an echocardiogram be done incorrectly?

Yes: As is the case with any test, if it is not done properly the results can be misleading. The technician doing the test has to have certain skills or the test can be misleading or just not of good enough quality to give the information being looked for. "garbage in, garbage out" they say.

can sleeping incorrectly cause costochondritis?

Unlikely: This is unlikely, unless you are sleeping in a way to place direct irritating pressure to the costochondral area.

incorrectly bent down during pregnancy @24w. i have marginal previa. could i've caused more issues or posed a risk to my baby?

Accepted Answer

No: I do not know what 'incorrectly bent down' means, but if you are not having any bleeding, contractions, leaking of fluid and the baby is moving normally, then there is probably little to worry about.  If you are having symptoms, then call your doctor.
