Depends on test : Your level is normal or even below normal. IgE levels alone does not to fight allergies. You need specific testing. It sounds like you may have hives. There are many causes of hives. An evaluation will help clarify your question

Talk to doctor: If you are healthy otherwise, it is entirely possible that the elevated IgE is from your pollen allergies.  Do note that people with eczema can have IgE level in the tens of thousands IU when the skin problem flares up  and in the range you described even when the condition is quiescent.  Note that there are indeed other medical conditions associated with elevated IgE level.

Typically in an adult a normal level is,less than 150, but it is not uncommon for patients with allergies to have levels in 500-600 range and patients with eczema can go to levels in the 1000-2000 range.  Really high IgE, like 5000 and up can indicate immune system disease or parasite
