low IgA is often an inherited trait with few associated issues. High Ig?E is found in people with allergies/eczema and similar conditions. Finding a high IgE to a specific item like a food may indicate it could trigger a dangerous reaction. Please discuss this with the doc who ordered it to put it in the context of her history and treatment needs.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, the results you provided are not diagnostic of any disorder. Wish you good health!

igA deficiency and an allergic condition may be present. Does she have recurring respiratory and sinus infections? A virtual consult with Healthtap is available to review. I agree that you should also consult with your physician. Avoid allergic triggers which may include certain foods. Keep a diary of the episodes and foods ingested.
