See Below: Total IgE reference range varies with age and normals are established for individual reference labs as well. Typically in an adult a normal level is,less than 150, but it is not uncommon for patients with allergies to have levels in 500-600 range and patients with eczema can go to levels in the 1000-2000 range. Really high IgE, like 5000 and up can indicate immune system disease or parasite
