Doctor is right: B.V can be hard to get rid of.  Its not passed from your partner.  Its overgrowth pf bacteria in your body. Take your medication as prescribed. Using condoms may help as sperm makes bacteria grow more.  You can also use over the counter r ephresh to change the ph. In the vagina. Do mot douche is it will make things worse.

Sorry, none known: Unfortunately, no "natural" treatments have been shown to help BV. Probiotics make sense in theory, and there is a lot of folklore about yogurt and other dairy products, but they rarely help. You'll need science-based medical treatment, usually metronidazole or tinidazole. Also need tests for other STDs, esp. chlamydia and gonorrhea, which often go along with BV. See your doctor.
