130 to 140 lbs: The real answer to this question, as with most questions, is it depends. It depends on whether or not you have been close to this weight through most of your life. Ideal weight for a young woman at 5'7" tall is 135 lbs; at 53, it can be a little higher.  But what is your body fat?  Are you fit and muscular? If you have been 50+ pounds more than this for years, then 145 to 150 pounds would be great

Her BMI of 32.1 is : In the " obese" range (>30), giving her an  increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure & high cholesterol. Gently suggest that she see her primary care physician & a cardiologist for risk-reduction. Many young women who are obese have polycystic ovary syndrome, which can cause infertility & even greater risk of diabetes.

Ideal weight: Body composition is even more important that weight.  You could have an ideal weight , but if your body fat percentage is high, that is not healthy.    I recommend you find a way to check your body composition.   You can plug your height and weight into polic actions online and find out your BMI, but that will give misleading results for many since it only takes into account height and weight.

Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
