19, been sick for 3 days, low grade fever every day, stuffy nose, almost uncontrollable cough, taking motrin, why won't my fever go away tho?

Doctor can evaluate: A primary care doctor can check to see if there is a bad cold (viral infection), a strep throat (bacterial, needs antibiotics), a sinus infection, allergies in the nose and sinuses, infection or wheezing in the lungs (might need asthma treatment or antibiotics), etc...  Usually, fever more than 3 days can mean influenza, or can be another bacterial or viral infection.

Viral URI: Try a decongestant (pseudoephedrine) and a saline nasal irrigation using a neti pot (see your pharmacist).

i have been taking amoxicillin for 5 days now for a tooth. it was extracted yesterday and ive been taking 800 mg ibuprofen for the pain. today i woke up with a stuffy nose. can i take dayquil or anything for it with the amoxicillin and ibuprofen?

Sounds like: CLASSIC Frontal bone SINUSITIS!  Use nasal spray along with an oral decongestant such as ZYRTEC D \
A course of antibiotics (eg: Z PAC) may also be indicated!

Stuffy nose: It sounds like you may have allergies. You can try an over the counter antihistamine, if this does not help after several days see your doctor, there are prescription meds that may help. Or, they can get you allergy tested.

Stuuffy nose &ear: Stuffy nose and ear can be due to allergies, in that case it will be recurrent or chronic and you need antihistamines and decongestants and consult an allergist.If it is acute and due to common cold then it will be self limiting, but to be comfortable and feel a little better you may use decongestants for couple of days.

Stuffy nosr: Babies normally breath through their nose. To relieve stuffness, useabulb syringe to remove excess mucus, use saline nose drops, humidify the air if the room is too dry and try elevating the baby's mattress. Wash your hands before handling baby. If you are very congested wear amask.
