Need more info: Can't "lose taste buds". However, there are several viral conditions that can affect the sense of taste and cause other symptoms. See your doctor for a diagnosis.

Lost taste buds?: Sometimes your taste will change with a bad cold, sinus or viral infection or the flu. This will usually resolve itself once your infection heals.
