should optic neuritis last over 14wks? dr says take ibuprofen and wait for scans but my eye hurts and sight getting worse again.lost 15% sight already

Optic Neuritis is: usually treated with intravenous steroid therapy. Typically an MRI of the brain will assist with the diagnosis. Please call your Ophthalmologist regarding your continued eye pain and continued loss of vision. Therapy may stop or reverse the damage in many cases when treated in a timely fashion.

is it safe to take claritin-d, flonase & motrin for sinusitis symptoms? congestion in 1 nostril w/ head/ear/jaw/behind eye ache for 2 weeks.

? sinusitis: While it is fine to take those medicines in your question, you need to see your doctor, you might need more, your doctor may order some tests or imaging studies and may give you antibiotics if it is bacterial sinusitis, goodluck

i took 2 advil (ibuprofen) pills and an hour later my eyes swell up very badly. but not whole eyes , just some spots but it's really bad. i took zyrtec ?

No more ibuprofen: If the problem is tolerable, you can just wait it out.  If the problem is quite bothersome, talk to your doctor about a short course of oral steroid.  You are considered allergic to ibuprofen.

Be seen: Might be time for an md visit. Headaches are complicated and can be hard to diagnose. There are many different causes (migraines, sinus problems, vision problems, caffeine related, even as a side affect of sleep apnea). When you are talking that much Ibuprofen without response, it's time to be seen. Your primary md or a neurologist are good places to start.
