i was given a z-pac for cough and felt good abt it until today when i coughed up a small bit of yellowish mucous.  thought i was over covid19 impact  (1st dry cough noticed on 12/12/20), but after today, and with fullness/gas i feel, which causes me to be winded when i run up a flight of stairs (unusual for me), i wonder if i should seek additional medical attention now, or wait a while longer.

i'm bloated and gassy.  tested positive for covid19 on 12/20/20?

Post-Covid ?'s: A positive test for Covid on "12/20/20" does require at least a 10 day quarantine.  It is a frequent symptom to be "short of breath" after a positive Covid case. If respiratory problems worsen, go to an ED for evaluation.

what can you take for gas/bloating/upset stomach that doesn't have a lot of sodium like an antacid (alka seltzer etc) for those w/ kidney disease?

Constipation: This is always a tough problem after back surgery and your surgeon knows this. Please keep him or her informed. I think passing gas suggests you don't have an "ileus" problem where the bowels "go to sleep" after some types of surgery. If you have no pain or nausea, you can eat, and are still passing gas, I would not be surprised if you needed another 4-5 days. See your surgeon if you are unsure.

Diet related: Mostly diet related; excess raw fruits and vegetables can cause; see if any changes in your diet help; also avoid a lot of caffeine, assure bowel regularity; it is normal to pass gas. Try over the counter gas reducing meds if severe.

Pulled muscle: I agree that this sounds like a pulled muscle.  Best thing to do is avoid that activity or lifting for that matter for a few days and allow this to rest and heal.  I'd also apply ice pack for 15-20 minutes each hour to the sore body part.  Off the shelf medication as directed on bottle may help with pain.  See your family doc if pain persists for  more than several days to a week.

was on anvanza for anxiety could you tell me why ibs was good now the stomach full of wind and burning ibs is bad?

Side effects: This drug has many side effect risks and the IBS type are prevalent . It's had very bad public relations and might have been discontinued in use in some places. So, I'd say you might be suffering side effects in the system you have a historic vulnerability. Discuss w/ Dr ASAP - Don't quit on your own - but do get them to use an alternative ASAP!

i've been taking levothyroxine sodium 0,50 mcg for several months, i used to take only 0,25 mcg and i'm now having symptoms of faintiness and dizziness. i feel better when i don't take the medication. what should i do? i can't quit it completely?

: I think you wrote the wrong doses. Your previous dose was 25 mcg (0.025 mg) and current dose is 50 mcg (0.05 mg). If you had been appropriately tested before the dose was changed then you definitely have hypothyroidism and you need thyroid replacement therapy. The current dose may be too high (or not) so you need to be re-tested, do not stop your med, see your doctor ASAP. Take care.

It can depend on your kidneys, your adrenal gland function, other medications, herbs, and even alcohol consumption. im a dope. tried neilmed nasal rinse. used distilled water but forgot to add the sodium packet so it was just the h2o it burned so i stopped after one nostril. did i do damage? my ear now feels a lil full on that one side. cant believe i did this?

There is nothing to gain by trying to rise out your nose, the commercials notwithstanding.
