Sciatica: Leg pain radiating to buttocks/leg may be coming from a 'pinched nerve' in the lumbar (lower) spine. Pain can come/go depending upon the degree of nerve compression. An MRI scan will be able to show exactly which nerve is affected. The most important warning signs are leg weakness and change in bladder/bowel function. Development of these signs warrants an immediate visit to a physician.

might try massage / pt- exercise 
hot cold /  back brace part of the time ( the back-jack is a good one)

try a "swim noodle" cut off about 12-18 inches long place behind back while sitting like in the car  use it as a lumbar roll /i have found this to be very helpful over the last few decades   /  best of luck it may take several things to help.

Lumbar strain: due to overuse or injury of the muscles of the lower back. Sciatica is usually one sided sharp, knife-like pain radiating from the buttock straight down the front or back of one or both legs. I suggest an examination and imaging.

Recommendation : For professional advice you need to be evaluated by doctors and have XRay done : of spine at area of your pain. Then physical therapy and exercise may be helpful.

Yes, I think so.: Severe constipation changes the way your organs fit together and that can create pressure on nerves that connect with other nerves. So the pain can pop up in places you don't expect. Get this cleared out as soon as you can by seeing a doctor for treatment or prescription. From then on - keep yourself from getting so blocked. See a neurologist: You may have severe degenerative arthritis  or herniated disc in low back which is causing pinching of sciatic nerve. You will need an MRI Scan of low back and possibly other tests before definitive treatment can be decided.

on and off i've had some lower back pain..at time going into legs...off late twice i've noticed that my lower backarea has this burning kind of sensation which last just for minutes..sensation is more when sitting against a surface.what could it be?

: It could be a strain or sciatica. Avoid heavy lifting. Use local heat to back and take Ibuprofen for a few days. If not better pl see your doc.

Sciatica: It sounds like your right sciatic nerve may be involved. Recommend staying active w/out overdoing things, though. Using a non steroidal antiinflammatory medication, such as Ibuprofen or Naproxen may be helpful. If able, do gentle stretches of your lower back. Usually takes 3-4 weeks to improve, possibly earlier but also may take a longer course. If in doubt or not recovering, see your doc.

If indicated the doctor may order some tests like blood test and/or imaging like X-ray /cat scan or MRI
