Since this is a sunday evening, i recommend that you call your doctors office in the morning and explain your symptoms. The cause of these symptoms needs to be evaluated. Extremely unlikely: You probably have read or heard stories about a blow to the chest causing heart stoppage and sudden death. This is extremely rare problem; every case is reported in the media, but only a handful of cases every year in all of North America. Second, the heart stoppage is immediate, not a few hours or days later. See your doctor for reassurance if you're still worried.

Important case: This sounds like an important case.  A normally healthy person with these symptoms may have an abnormal blood and platelet count.  Most doctors would at least obtain a screening blood count.  She should see a doctor.  This should be done soon, like in the next day.

Hypothyroidism: And cardiac involvement (myxedema) does improve very well with correction of hypothyroidism. It usually does not cause CP but it does cause decreased tolerance to activity and effusion.

Other signs and symptoms include fatigue, photosensitivity, fever, weight loss, kidney disease, lung disease, heart disease, liver disease, nerve and brain disease.
