However, you need to be careful because occasionally true anginal chest pains can feel like a tight bra. So if you have risk factors for coronary heart disease, you should be sure to get checked out before attributing the pain to noncardiac causes.

CP! Yes: Chest pain can be due to- heart attacks, aneurysm, pericarditis, pleurisy, pneumonia, acid reflux, 'gas', esophagitis, pulmonary embolism, gall bladder disease, costochondritis, rib fractures, cancers etc. Get evaluated.

Yes: Especially if it is i'll fitting or too tight. I agree with dr. Rao there are also many serious causes so if not wearing a bra does not relieve symptoms then see a physician & get evaluated.
