Eye trauma  : You may have a subconjunctival  bleed which could be from the car accident. If your vision is ok , then it's not an emergency . If you notice increased pain behind eye, you need to see an ER doc or an ophthalmology MD ASAP.

Hard to say: Conjunctivitis just means the tissue is irritated/inflamed. It could be allergies, viruses, bacteria, chemicals, trapped dust, etc. Without an evaluation it is hard to decide a treatment. The easiest home care would be just to use artificial tears for a while to wash out any irritant. If it persists, have it seen.

Tears not enough: Dry eye disease is treated with artificial tear supplementation, humidifier to increase the ambient humidity, omega 3 supplementation , and possible pharamcologic intervention, ie.  Restasis.  If you have meibomian gland dysfunction an an evaporative component to your dry eye, treatment can be directed there as well.  Your ophthalmologist should be able to come up with an effective plan.

Don't worry: I know it looks horrible but chances are it is just benign and will go away with time. I would check your blood pressure however as eleveted BP can increase your chance of hemmorrhage.  There are no magic drops; just be patient.

Yes : Yes it can be transferred by touch.  You need immediate evaluation and care for both the eye infection and vaginal candida infection at an emergency department or urgent care clinic.

my dr recently switched me from ativan to klonopin (clonazepam) for anxiety. i have to take a red eye this week and would prefer to use ativan (more sedating). how long do i have to wait after taking the klonopin (clonazepam) before that would be ok?

About 6 hrs: Klonopin (clonazepam) is usually taken twice a day so just substitute Ativan for the second dose.

See an ophthalmologi: Go and see an ophthalmologist (eye doctor) immediately.  Your eye is nothing to fool around with.  You can lose vision permanently if there is a condition you let progress.  Go now.
