Maybe,but: A C&amp;S of clean catch urine would help.If you are a smoker I would order a cytology.Most likely there is no problem.Repeat the U/A in1-2 weeks.

hello doctor i took urine test & result is positive bacteria, but i dont know what bacteria, doctor gave urinter 400 mg, levofloxacin 500mg, dexycyline 100mg, if the bacteria are trichomona, clamydia, or gonorea, can these antibiotic cure it ? thnk?

: The urine test-culture &amp; sensitivity gives the kind of bacteria and what antibiotics work on them. The antibiotics mentioned usually work on all of them. I do not know what 'urinter' is. Never hesitate to ask your doc about what you have and what medicine used, possible side effects at the time of treatment. Hope you do well

doc i have a hyperthyroidism. last week i have my lab test result the result was normal but still i have a symptoms like chest pain and chest dscmfort?

Chest pain: It is hard to answer your question, other than to say "see your doctor".  If your thyroid blood tests are indeed normal, then the symptoms are not from that.  Is this anxiety?  Or is it from coronary artery disease.  See your doctor.

i received an abnormal pap test result last year. when should i go back to the doctor?

ASAP: They usually want you to go back in 3 - 6 months after the abnormal pap smear, but sometimes up to a year is ok.  Go asap.

i received a test result that indicated-- commensal flora present. what does that mean in laymen's term? does it require treatment and/or do i need to follow-up with my doctor?

: I assume you meant urine culture result.
Commensal flora mean the bacteria are normally present in healthy person. Your urine was likely contaminated because you did not collect it appropriately. You are supposed with clean the area well and take the urine during voiding.
Likely, you do not have UTI; otherwise, a predominant organism will grow with more than 100,000 colonies.
No need for treatment

dear doc my hbsag test result is negative 6,7,8,10 months after potential exposure is this mean i am free from hep b? am i fine? i have heard hep b core test, should i run another test? im very scared please help doc?

: You have been over tested. Your negative test at 6 months proves you do not have active hepatitis B and were not infected during the exposure you are concerned about. However, additional tests (HBcAb, HBsAb) can give additional information, such as whether you were infected in the past and the infection is now gone; or if you were vaccinated against hepatitis B. Discuss with a doctor.

what is the optimal tsh level when trying to conceive? i read it is between 1 and 2. my last test result was 3.63 but doc doesn't want to up my meds.

In normal range: Your TSH is in near the normal range and it would be prudent to follow your doctor's advice as s/he knows more about health history than is feasible in this forum.

Test is reliable: The manufacturer of the most common chlamydia tests recommend waiting 1-2 hour since previous urination, but probably it isn't necessary. Despite the official recommendation, clinical experience suggests it doesn't make a difference. In my STD clinic, we pay no attention to time since last voiding. That said, no test is perfect, and the urine test misses about 10% of chlamydial infections.

Seems OK.: As long as you feel fine or are getting better these lab tests don't indicate much. Depending upon where you grew up and live in India these symptoms could represent serious disease, but the labs don't show anything specific. The way you feel should guide whether you need further testing.
