I got negative chlamydia urine test result. my last urine was passed just 20 minutes before giving urine for test. conclusive? 2 hours wait needed?

Test is reliable: The manufacturer of the most common chlamydia tests recommend waiting 1-2 hour since previous urination, but probably it isn't necessary. Despite the official recommendation, clinical experience suggests it doesn't make a difference. In my STD clinic, we pay no attention to time since last voiding. That said, no test is perfect, and the urine test misses about 10% of chlamydial infections.
