Check with MD: Physicians will treat appropriately if needed. Grave's disease would be easily recognized by her md. Her liver enzymes may be elevated for many reasons in pregnancy. Check with her md.

Low TSH: agree not to worry, your hormone levels are fine and the TSH being slightly is because you are pregnant, just like other things that change with pregnancy.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it is the elevated free T3 which is the molecule mediating the effects of thyroid function.

Already answered: Hi. I already told you: hyper-functioning ("hot") thyroid nodule is most likely, but a phase of subacute thyroiditis (ST) is certainly a possibility. Following thyroid function over time, or a 123-I thyroid scan (and uptakes) would tell the difference. This all assumes you're not surreptitiously TAKING thyroid hormone (which would look like ST, but unlike ST would have a suppressed thyroglobulin).

wife of 54 has a low tsh of 0.01 and high ft4 of 19.5 -diagnosis is hyperthyroidism. could it be a pituitary problem - no weightloss or other symptoms?

Pituitary unlikely: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that,  What you described fits in with Graves Disease.

Diagnosis first: You may or may not have grave's disease. Your doctor needs to determine the cause of your test results before treating test results. Meanwhile, if not contraindicated, a beta blocker could be useful in terms of treating hyperthyroid symptoms. Causes of your hyperthyroidism also include: hashimoto's, subacute thyroiditis, and toxic thyroid nodule.

: Valuable to have an endocrinologist.  The low B-12 needs boost to normal range, and monthly injections should correct.  Would also raise vitamin D to a higher level, aiming at 50-70 ng/ml.  Your doctor should be able to guide these additional interventions.

i have seronegative sjgren's syndrome, recently i was tested for anti-tpo and anti-tg. my anti-tpo and anti-tg came back high, with low tsh, normal t3 dan normal ft4 levels. what could this possibly mean?

: You don't mention any symptoms. I believe those elevated antibodies are consistent with inflammation in the thyroid gland, but a thyroidologist or endocrinologist would have to interpret the significance of the low TSH which could be from release of thyroid hormones due to the inflammation of the thyroid gland. The normal FT4 &amp;T3 may have been transiently elevated and are headed to low territory.
