Weight loss and DM: Diabetics are low in certain nutrients necessary for fat burning.  Magnesium, Vitamin D, chromium, alpha lipoic acid, and seleniomethionine.  Also make sure your thyroid is optimal - in diabetes there are issues with thyroid conversion, so you can not go by TSH alone.  You should have your free T3 and reverse T3 checked.  I find that I have to keep my free T3 levels above 3-3.2 for my diabetics.

Best Way to Lose Fat: The very best way is to limit carbs to 30 grams per 4 hour period.  If you miss your morning carbs, you don&#x27;t get to add them later in day. Know carb #s for everything you eat! 
Other ideas: GreanTeaHP (see website), eat a teaspoon of Coconut Oil 30 min before lunch and dinner combined with 1 teaspoon of chia seeds.  These reduce food cravings. A doctor can prescribe phentermine for two months.

Diet and exercise: Only treatment that works is diet and exercise. Eat less then you burn off. 3500 calories to the pound. Will reduce your risk of diabetes, high bp, heart disease, cholesterol, infertility, etc. Other than that, the only method is liposuction.

See below: You can not selectively lose fat from one area of the body (naturally).  Bananas and strawberries are healthy but need to be part of balanced diet.

BMI of 23.9 is: within normal range. You can't specifically spot lose fat. Dropping to one meal per day may lower your metabolic rate and lead to weight gain in the long run.

The same: As anyone else, through diet and exercise. You have to burn up 3500 calories that you don't ingest to lose one pound. You don't get to choose where the fat will come from, your body does that -- but it's generally the most recently gained weight that goes first.

Yes: All forms exercise can help you eventually lose belly fat, however if you are underwt I can't imagine that you have much belly fat! I hope you are not trying to look like the thin models in pictures that have no fat at all! Sometimes there's a little skin on the belly and when we sit down it bulges and we mistake that for fat!  It's skin!  Just follow a sensible balanced diet and exercise! :)

Fat loss: You can not lose fat in specific areas you have to lose whole body fat. Cutting calories back to less than 1000 a day and exercising at least an hour a day will be the quickest way to lose weight.

Cinnamon: Cinnamon has some interesting properties but in a doses as low as this, it will not induce weight loss.  I wish it were so easy.

Spot fat loss does: not occur naturally. By losing weight in general, some may be abdominal fat.  But, we don't get to choose what area of body fat is lost from. Eat healthy &amp; be physically active. Calories burned must &gt; those consumed. Tighten abs: crunches, reverse crunches, exercise ball crunches, pelvic thrusts, lying leg raises, side bridge &amp; “bicycling” exercise on back. Do regular aerobic exercise.  Take care.
