Jog w/o weights.: Jogging is taxing enough on the hips, knees, ankles and feet with one's own body weight.  Adding weights increases the load and impact upon those joints and could accelerate joint damage.

Allergies/ sweat: Could be allergy to chemicals or clothing exposed to while running...or even your own sweat or increased temp when running. See dermatologist for eval and tx

Exercise Symptoms: Exercise induced breathing issues could be due to deconditioning and/or exercise induced asthma (bronchoconstriction). Could benefit from pre-treating with albuterol 10-15 minutes prior to exercise. See an Allergist or Pulmonologist to get further evaluation and testing.

Diet as well.: You really need a healthy diet that has fewer carbohydrates and fats and increased reliance on vegetables to lose weight effectively. Jogging and swimming can burn between 100 cal a mile to five or 600 cal an hour when swimming. 3500 cal is equal to 1 pound of fat so you can see it takes a lot of exercise. You need to work on diet as well.

It depends!: First, were you able to jog before? If so, then you should be able to do so afterwards. More importantly, this is a question that is best addressed by your surgeon, hopefully pre-operatively. S/he should address all your questions & concerns before the operation (given that it's not emergent). S/he can also go over your recovery & what to expect when. Regardless of what we say here, go see ur doc.

Weigh loss: That depends on how far you jog in that time, your current weight, what your dietary intake is etc. Don't expect to lose much weight at this rate - but this is much better than no exercise. To lose significant weight, you must be willing to commit to making lifestyle changes. Eat healthfully ; be physically active. Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night. Hydrate w at least 64 oz of water / day.
