Cecal neoplasm: What  is the  histology ? Lipoma, mucocele , carcinoid. In general though individuals with lesions  due have a higher propensity  for cancer. You likely will need continued surveillance colonoscopy with evaluation of the cecum . The tumor that was identified was small and surveillance/monitoring will detect lesions before cancer occurs. F/u/ w/ gastroenterologist

Very rare: Cysts of the colon are extremely rare.  Most when found are in the mesentery or supportive structure of the bowel.  in even rarer instances as with  polyps detected by colonoscopy, lymphatic cysts that have developed and appear in region where polyps found are removed by colonoscopy.  They are rare, benign and reportable when found.

Not known: It is good that you had colonoscopy and had the polyps removed. We do not know the exact cause of polyps. It is likely a combination of genetics, diet and environment.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

doctor removed 18 polyps from colon, all benign.  doctor says i need another colonoscopy next year.  what are the chances he will find polyps again?

Good chance: With this many polyps others could easily have been missed or you could grow small polyps in a year i agree with repeat procedure 1yr. Also will determine how fast you grow polyps and determine future schedule if procedure.

Real risk: Your diet and exercise have little or no impact on your likelihood of developing colon cancer, but are very much worth doing for their own sake, for the fitness satisfaction, and other health benefits. This is mostly about your genes and dumb luck. You'll want to be 'scoped fairly often and little lesions removed promptly to reduce your risk greatly.

: Need to discuss with your gastroenterologist.  MAY indicate you have inflammatory bowel disease but from your description can’t tell if it’s Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease.  Differentiation very important.  Again, check with gastroenterologist
