Vitamin D deficiency: 1,000 international units (IU) of Vitamin D will typically raise 25OH D level by 10ng/mL. Better yet, ask your doc to recheck your 25OH D level as a result of 4,000 IU, keeping in mind that 30-100ng/mL is considered normal reference range.

5-10,000 IU Daily: I think you mean ng/ml.  I like my patients to be in the vicinity of 70 ng/ml.  That means you would need to increase your levels by nearly 60 ng/ml from where you are now.  I suggest 10, 000 iu per day of d3 for at least one year.  You could re-test at any time to see how you are doing.

Yes: 4000 units of vitamin D3/day is sufficient. It may take about three months for your stores of vitamin D to be replenished and the blood level to be at or above 30.

Up to 3 mos: Vitamin d is fat soluble and can take up to three months to reach a new equilibrium, although the level may start to increase after a much shorter time.

3-6 months: It will take 3-6 months to build up enough stores of vitamin D. You may continue taking this dose indefinitely.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

on a full body blood test, it was found out that i have only 26ng/ml of vitamin d levels and 35ng/dl of iron. how much supplementation is safe to take every day for healthy levels?

: I am not certain what you mean by a "full body blood test?|" but many of these are scams. Discuss with your Dr and get proper testing. You need to send us what is normal in that lab in order to be able to help more.
