?? Why ??: This med is never given to infants that young.It can injure the kidneys. Beyond that, why are you giving a baby that young pain medication?If it has fever &gt;100.4 it needs to go to the ER immediately. If you assume there is pain, consult with your pediatrician before giving anything, s/he may want you to bring baby in for an evaluation.Put those drops away until at least 6 months.

No problem!: A normal 7 month-old does not need to drink water. Babies should be offered breast milk, or formula, when thirsty. Sometimes juice is used to help resolve constipation. Otherwise, juice is not needed. During periods of the stomach flu, pedialyte may be tried if a baby is not tolerating breast milk or formula. But, in general, babies do not need to drink water.

Can be used: While the jury is out in all areas of prebiotics and probiotics in infants, there have been some positive studies looking at diarrhea. It as also been found helpful for preemies in necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).  The only concern is using them in infants that may  have immune problems or seriously ill with indwelling catheters.

So, while not absolutely necessary, it will not hurt.

You may offer these spices, however keep in mind that an infant's taste is much less developed and seasoning is not needed.

JUICE INTAKE: Did you try to write 'mango' juice? Anyways, some juice is allowed from 4 months age, not too much. 3-4 ounces daily. At one 1 year age, recommended maximum amount is 6-8 ounces. Juice only contain some fructose sugar and vitamins. It doesn't have protein or fat, so not that good for the youngstar.

Allergies: I would talk to your doctor about specific symptoms that make you think your child is allergic to everything. Sometimes there are intolerances or other confusing symptoms that may not actually be allergies. If they really are allergies you may need to see an allergist.

Yes: Cetirazine(zyrtec) is approved for infants over 6mo at a dose of 1/2 tsp/day with additional dosing for older infants. Other preparations may be considered but all should be used in consultation with your doctor.
