Food restriction: American academy of pediatrics have lifted prior recommendations regarding food restrictions in infants. It was thought that restricting certain foods till a baby's immune system was more mature (after 1-2 yrs) would reduce the risk of food allergies. This has not been proven. You may offer these spices, however keep in mind that an infant's taste is much less developed and seasoning is not needed.
