You : You may have experienced postural hypotension. You already noted that your were dehydrated. If you had been lying flat and suddenly jumped up (like to get a glass of water in the middle of the night) that could cause gravity to pool some of your blood lower in your body. As a result you could have less blood supplying the brain. If you had a lack of oxygen with brief decrease in blood then you could faint. Recommendations: stay well hydrated- especially if you have been exercising.  Roll out of bed slowly. Go from a lying to a sitting to a standing position.  If it is a one time occurence and you feel well, don't see a need to go to the doctors. If the issue repeats - please talk to your doctor. Stay well.

Height: Height depends on the average family height (parents height). Around 17 years further increase in height in unlikely. Eating certain foods will not help you gain height. Eat healthy.

Don't bother: Eating fruits and vegetables will not detoxify the body of build up toxins so don't do it for 30 days only. However, eating mostly a plant based diet will decrease the number of additional toxins the body accumulates and would be a wise thing to do.

A dermatologist is: the best specialist to see for skin issues.  Having said that, avoid junk food, greasy, food, and any lotions that contain alcohol.  Wash w/mild soap and warm water.  Peace and good health.

i've a hiatus hernia and a gastritis which give me terrible nausea. which food do i need to avoid absolutely?

No absolutes: These diagnoses can aggravate nausea through reflux and malabsorption, but there is no absolute dietary restrictions.  Alcohol use and smoking most certainly aggravate the stomach and GI tract, and can worsen your gastritis.  See your doctor for followup!

i swallowed a 2-inch and 3-inch carrot. it got stuck in my esophagus and hasn't gone down after 24 hours with water and food.  do i need to go to er?

Yes: The longer the food stays stuck, the more riskier the endoscopic procedure.

Possibly: Herpes simplex type 1 can be transmitted by skin contact or oral contact with utensils or other objects contaminated with the virus by someone who is shedding the virus, touching her sores and then utensils, cups,etc.  Most adults already have the virus however.

It really depends: On the type of food poisoning.  Some "poisonings" occur related to a preformed toxin that a bacteria had already released into the food you ate.  That type of food poisoning  "hits" you foods on the order of hours.  Other types of food poisoning require an incubation time for a bacteria to create problems, and that may take on the order of days, even up to a week or two!
