i am on mylan norethindrone to prevent pregnancy but still get my cycles every 30 days. can i take primolut to postpone a period? (together with micronor?

: It is unusual to ovulate regularly while on norethindrone, but if you are ovulating, and your "period" is regular , taking more progestin (Primolut or Micronor) will not stop the withdrawal bleeding from estrogen made in your ovaries if you are in fact ovulating.

Maybe: It is best to always start your pills on a sunday to always keep them straight. It is also important to be 100% certain that you are not pregnant. If, between you and your doctor, you agree that it is safe to start them prior to starting your period, then you can. The rule of thumb, is to start them the first sunday after your period starts.

Don't stop: Bleeding on micronor (norethindrone) is breakthrough bleeding. Stopping micronor (norethindrone) are likely to make the breakthrough bleeding worse. If the breakthrough bleeding becomes intolerable, an alternative birth control method may need to be considered.

Probably normal: There is probably nothing to worry about.    The cycles with micronor (norethindrone) can be irregular.  I would probably check a pregnancy test if you don't have some bleeding in the next week.

Breakthrough bleed: Breakthrough bleeding (bleeding at the wrong time)  is very common on birth control. It happens in about 1/3 of users. Its no big deal and usually self corrects over time.  If you are not satisfied or it continues to happen  then consider using a different birth control method. It is a common side effect and does not mean something is wrong or that the pill is not working.

i was given norethindrone for uterus thickening  i took it for 10 days and period started 3 days after i stop taking it i have trerrible cramp.normal?

Possibly: If the uterine lining was extremely thick and there was lots of endometrial tissue then the withdrawal bleed could potentially cause a lot of cramping.

if norethindrone 5mg is given for a ten days a month for prolonged periods. does that mean only ten days out of the month you dont have your period ? what is suppose to happen?

: The use of progestins or progesterone for "10 days a month" will generally control excessive growth of endometrial tissue in women who do not ovulate regularly.  At "33 years of age", you are not statistically "pre-menopausal", so get a referral to a reproductive endocrinologist for an assessment of your ovulatory status.

dr put me on aygestin (norethindrone) 5mg 2x day for 5 days to bring on period. last pill was 2 days ago. when should i expect my period?

After finishing 5 da: Your period will come after finishing the 5 days within  anywhere from 1to 3days after in most cases.
