Maybe: It is best to always start your pills on a sunday to always keep them straight. It is also important to be 100% certain that you are not pregnant. If, between you and your doctor, you agree that it is safe to start them prior to starting your period, then you can. The rule of thumb, is to start them the first sunday after your period starts.
