You can as long as: calories burned exceed calories consumed. Drink at least 8  - 8 oz glasses of water per day. Try for 8 hours of sleep/night.  Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables &amp; 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid sodas, alcohol &amp; junk carbohydrates. Get in a good mix of aerobic &amp; weight lifting exercises.

Healthy diet: A healthy diet should have some of all the food groups- protein, fat, carbs, etc. The main concern with your diet is that it seems very low in fiber (other than some nuts and flax seed). Do you have any problems with constipation? Adding more fruits and vegetables and high-fiber carbs may help. Are you taking a multi-vitamin? You are probably not getting all your nutrients.

Read labels: I may be missing your question, but i think if you read the labels on your prepared frozen foods you'll find a considerable amount of both salt and calories (often from fat) in those products.  Added salt and empty calories are not part of a healthy diet--which should otherwise include moderation, small portion sizes, lean meats, whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
