1-6 weeks: Due to the half life of the drug, valium may be able to be detected in the urine for 1-6 weeks.  The more chronic the use, the longer it is able to be detected. Unwise: You are proposing self-medicating, using leftover medicine. The medicine itself may work less well or as well.  But you need to find treatment with a professional for your anxiety, perhaps a return to the same prescriber.
