Valium: The metabolites of valium can stay in your system for weeks, even without taking other drugs. As for other drugs, they could lengthen that time even more, depending on what they were.

Depends: Valium has a very long half life to start with and has an active metabolite that makes it stay in your system even longer. Certain medications could decrease or increase metabolism based on how they are metabolized.
