I take prilosec 40mg daily ( last dose on thursday at 8:30). i was given a single dose of 5mg valium through iv at hospital for muscle cramp on friday at 1pm. read they interact. when can i resume taking prilosec?

There is a risk of interaction between the above mentioned drugs where Prilosec can increase the concentration of diazepam or valium. Given the way they were administered you probably can resume taking your Prilosec next day providing no other new drugs. Check with your doc as well to make sure all details are accounted for.
