i got lip stitches and the stitches are removed 4 days ago and it's day 14 and my lip is still swallow and sometimes there is unusual sensation also i am worried will the lip became normal?

Resolution: Following lip trauma, it may take some time to resolve  Place a cool compress on the area and allow healing time.

can i put antibiotic ointment on inner lip stitches?

Accepted Answer

For what reason ?: And is the ointment made for intraoral use? Is the wound infected? See your physician if there is a problem with the healing.. The infection would not be on the surface, but in the deeper tissues.

i know im not supposed to but when little pressure is applied to huge scab on my head clear fluid comes out and the scabs have now formed from stitche

Accepted Answer

Serous fluid: If the fluid is clear, it's just serous fluid - which is normal from swelling after a trauma. If the fluid comes out cloudy/milky (ie pus) then you should see a doctor as it could be infected. Clear fluid - usually no big deal.

i have a rash on my lip that wont go away. ive had it for a month. as soon as it scabs off it reappears (every +/- 4 days) - what could it be?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. What you described suggests oral herpes. It would be prudent to see a doctor to ascertain if you may antiviral treatment. 
Get HPV vaccine.

This needs: evaluation ..scabbing from a cold sore should not last any longer than any scab..... A visit to your Primary Care Provider followed by possible Dermatological (SKIN) Consultation is indicated!
BTW It could be you are PREMATURELY REMOVING the scab with your lips or teeth??? If so that might explain the scab's "persistance" !!!!

i got a spit lip  9 weeks ago that needed stitches and now there is a hard lump scar wich makes my lip look fat. will that soffen and go away in time?

Possibly : Scarring can take a while for that to heal. If there is pain or if it does does not look right i would probably see the doctor that did the stitches and if not see a plastic surgeon have a nice day.

Knot in lip: Is the knot hard or soft? If it is soft it may take a little more time. If it is hard it may be a bit of scar tissue (fibroma) and may  need to be removed. The procedure is simple, takes half an hour or less and may require one suture. See  your dentist or oral surgeon for a consultation.

Normal: This is normal Latoya. A good medication to keep on hand for cold sores is Zovirax (acyclovir) ointment. You will need to get it on prescription from your doctor.

i have a cold sore scab above my top lip and it looks horrible! it is so big! is there anyway to get rid of it or speed the healing process?? is it true if the cold sore is on skin that it would take 7 days! more longer than a one on your lip? please help

Keep it moist: Once you have reached the scab stage, it just has to resolve on it's own. If you keep it moisturized with ointment, it will soften the scab and heal more quickly.
If you have recurrent cold sores, consider having an antiviral onhand (pills and ointment). If you take or apply antivirals as soon as you begin to get symptoms (itching or burning), you can often abort the full blown cold sore.

Stop picking it: Either stop picking it , or, if u swear up and down ur not, get it taken off!  truth is get it checked out either way.
